WHEN YOUR HEAD IS IN THE SAND , YOUR ARSE IS IN THE AIR!

You can’t seem to get interested in anything beyond a surface level. You are terrified of getting stuck in another meaningless job, which for you would feel like slow suicide (again). Most video’s you find on Youtube tell you to trust your ‘instinct’ which can feel beyond confusing when you are at a stage in your life when you need practical advice. You can get totally paralysed by esoteric advice and sayings that do not really help you in a practical, do something world.

Every single thing in this universe changes, staying the same seems to go totally against our grain. But there is a disturbing common confusing that “sticking to something” when it is not working or is causing you emotional pain is the same as “NOT QUITTING”. The words “Moving On” and “Quitting” have somehow gotten mixed up.

So how do you practically move on in you career ? when you have bills to pay and a life style to keep up? well here are somethings you might want to take a look at.

. Make a list of all the expenses you can realistically cut out/ back on ?
. Can you do it on the side, after work hours as a transition ?
. How long will it take to make your new business profitable so you can live off it?
. What is your life purpose ? (Check out Evan Carmichael’s ONE WORD”
. What is it about your current job that you don’t like ?
. Make a list of your Values
. Is there an actual market for your new business?
. Do you know anyone who is already in that market? or someone you could work with
. CAN YOU AFFORD TO DO THIS, FINANCIALLY!
. Do you need to start saving now, so that you can start you business in 2 years time?

These are just some of the things that you will need to look at, that don’t involve sticking your head in the sand waiting for the universe to send you as sign. Because when you head is in the sand you arse is up in the air and it wont be long before someone kicks you up it.
