THE FORTUNE OF A HIGHLY TUNED MIND – WARREN BUFFETT
He became the richest man in the world. Being a shy and often awkward boy, Warren always had a fascination with numbers. Even today Warren can recall some arbitrary numbers found in a sticks journal some 40 years ago.
Every morning for the past 50 years, Warren has driven the same route to his office. His wife gives him the exact amount he needs for his McDonalds meal of the day, price of which depends on how well his business is doing. His wife gave Warren the stability he needed and the comfort of knowing he always had a loving home to come home to, which he did like clock work every night. One of the misunderstood things about Warren is that even as a young man with 3 children they were already rich, which is not the case. The riches came later.
Warren has an incredible man, funny and jolly. He is the antithesis of what the “Modern Day” Hustling and Grinding Entrepreneur pretends to be. Warren studies his investments, he takes calculated risks and thus he has found his fortune, the fortune of a highly tuned mind.
Warren is best know for buying and selling stocks but it is his humanist and humouring approach to business that I love the most. Warren says he doesn’t have a mind “That Relates to the physical world around him” but he understands the business like…well no mans business.
