SUCCESS4 SUPPORTS – CHILDREN MATTER (TEA GUTTSMANN)

A few words from the Founder of Children Matters – Tea Guttsmann
Children matters to me and this is important. I believe that our children are the future of our world and it´s our responsibility as adults to create a stable and loving foundation for for them so that they will be well prepared for life.

Every child is our responsibility. Adults, we are role models for each and every child out there.

Because children both imitate the adults in their lives and often do the opposite of what they are told, it´s vital to understand that what we do and say or don´t do and say will be seen and heard, and likely repeated by our children. This is precisely why we must ”walk our talk”.

If we teach children something, we need to make sure we are living in alignment with what we are teaching. When children witness that what they just learned is not being practiced children learn to mistrust and be skeptical of what they´re taught. How do children learn to believe and trust themselves if the adults in their life act in a way that conflicts with what they say and do.

Almost 50% of all marriages in the world end up in divorce. Imagine how many children are affected by divorce! Many of these divorcing parent´s experience serious conflicts between themselves as well as child custody and visitation rights of the children.

Even after divorce, many parents remain frustrated about the fact that they are divorced and angry about with their ex-partner that they either become self-absorbed or retreat in order to avoid further pain. In doing so they may inadvertently stop paying attention to the children. They can´t see clearly because all they see is the conflict. When this happens, it is the children who are caught in the middle.

In many cases this is when the parents end up in court: they can´t solve the practicalities related to the care of their children.

IF YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN ARE IN NEED OF HELP THEN WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHILDREN MATTER
