HOW CLEAR IS YOUR VISION? FLAVIA POWELL

We all want to feel happy, fulfilled, contented and successful and yet how many of us truly know what that happiness and success looks like? How many of us spend time visualising that happiness and success or know what it feels like?

How is it possible to achieve something if we don’t know what it is? We can’t bake a cake if we don’t know what cake we want to bake or what the ingredients are. It is equally impossible to be successful and happy without an idea, an image or a feeling of what that is.

Does success to you mean having more money? Does happiness to you mean being in good health? Does contentment mean having a sense of inner tranquility?

Maybe you’re at a point in life where you’re looking for that happiness and success or perhaps you are already happy and successful but you’re looking for something else to give you excitement. Whatever it is you’re looking for, it’s important that you create an image of what that looks like for you and know how you will feel once you’ve achieved it.

Paint the best image of your happiness, success, excitement or whatever else you are looking for. Add every bit of detail you want in there. What do you want your life to look like? How do you want to feel?

With a clear image of a beautiful and exciting future you will feel naturally propelled towards achieving it and the obstacles along the way will be exciting learning opportunities. The strength and the drive to achieve your happy image will be more powerful than any obstacle.

It’s in your control so get visualising.
It is and has been my most powerful tool and driver for as long as I remember. The stronger the image, the bigger the drive.

Every day, a few minutes focus on your happiness goes by in the blink of an eye and before you know it, you’re in that picture living your dream. Life is and can be beautiful.

Here’s a quote I absolutely love.
“I dream my painting and then paint my dream”
Vincent Van Gogh

Keep smiling:-) .
