BE AWARE OF VANITY METRICS – ROB MOORE

In a world hooked on Likes, Clicks, and little love hearts floating up the screen for a little hit of dopamine to see you through the day here at Success4 we agree with much of this new video by Rob Moore of Progressive Property, who has grown both his business and his Disruptive Entrepreneur Podcast series, on the strength and quality of his content.

Its a world of click bate and attention without the interest and action. Hits to your website can be completely irrelevant if no one takes action on your content, products or services. We all know someone who has ‘brought’ subscribers and likes and theres a temptation to base your whole existence and happiness on ‘Likes’ and ‘Subscribers’.

So be careful not to get sucked into the trap of what Rob calls ‘Vanity Metrics’ and concentrate on the quality of your content, solving problems for your audience and customers and serving your audience and improving their lives.
